84.) As Sweet Nectar Comes From Flowers . . .

As sweet nectar comes from flowers
And fruit from trees
So is the way of their production of it
The same as for me:
In the forming of the written treasure
All the work which was necessary to do
Was to not think;
And what kind of work was that
But what all nature does continually:
For in all that the trees do
And in all that the flowers say
They need not to think either
It is as all done for them in them
As it is for me in me
And throughout all the varied stages
Of productivity it is the same.

The life that makes the trees and flowers
Live – makes them produce
What they were made to produce,
And with no thought needed of their own:
So what is in us is in us, and it is what comes out.
