“Is-ing”  –  or  –  “about-ing:”

This was all my concern –

To discern the difference

Between the two

To see which was which in me

At the time of writing;

For a longing to explain

Was too much in the way

And too often – and

To balance the two

Or even to eliminate the one

Was not easy

And sometimes I got it wrong

When I was right.
