            A joyous delight in depths ---

A plant rooted in the ground

Flowers in the air

A creature drawn to water

Flies in the firmament

A vital element of Earth

Falls from under the sky

And no one takes it to heart

And finds wisdom there

The seeing of the thing itself:

First sight . . .

And one thing out of another:

Second sight . . .

And in the essential out of that:

Third sight . . .

And a whole hid understanding:

For three is at the heart and centre

Of all things toward an answer
            It is three gardens I was given
