45.) At Dusk The Mist Rises From The Ground

At dusk the mist rises from the ground
And moistens the field
The sun sinks below the sky-edge
And satisfies the heart
Upward our seeing eyes are lifted
By the pull of it
Till by its careful capturing
Sight loses this its first land for the sky
And the merely straight
For a life that flies.
